Year training Professional Craft Hatter.
The course is set up as a three-year training and consists of 3 modules. Each year you follow a module that consists of 40 days. This is a fixed day per week. (Excluding school holidays). You do not have to do 3 years in total. You can apply for each year.
No experience is required for the first year however, being able to work neatly is a useful skill. For years 2 and 3, basic knowledge of hat making and design is required.
The annual Professional Craft Hatter course costs €4,950,- per module (per year). The payment for the annual training can be made in one time. But it is also possible to pay in 12 monthly installments of €425,00 (scroll down for link)

Description
Professional hat making is a specialist three-year course in which you learn all aspects of hat making. You will be trained as a skilled hatter. You will learn everything about customizing existing molds, making patterns, and using different materials & techniques. Every week you practice your skills in making the different models and making methods of hats by hand. With me, you will learn the craft and design of hats yourself. It’s about making something that is completely yours and developing your own style as a result. At the end of each year, you will be awarded a certificate of participation.
After following this training you will be able to make hats for every occasion. Every year you finish with a certificate of a craftsman hatmaker and you have learned to make at least 4 types of hats. At the end of 3 years, you will have learned to make 12 hats in the most popular classic models. To crown your work, you can display your own collection for a month in Berry Rutjes’ hat salon on Noordeinde in The Hague!
